Learn More About Democratic Party Candidate, Ken Jamison

What makes District 15 such a strong family community to me is being able to spend a warm summer’s day with the family at Gladstone’s outside municipal pool, trying fresh lemonade while watching my stepson play at Happy Rock Park, or spending a beautiful Fall evening with the family at Gladfest.

I was raised in Gladstone and call it my home along with my wife Sierra, four-year-old stepson, and our dog, Buddy, a rescue from the KC Pet Project. You will often find us spending time in the community enjoying one of the many family-friendly activities District 15 has to offer. 

I am also involved in the community by being a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10906, American Legion Post 626, Gladstone Chamber of Commerce, and Kansas City Northland Elks Lodge #2376. Our family also worships at a local Baptist church. 

I got where I am today by attending Meadowbrook Elementary School, Antioch Middle School, and Oak Park High School.  

In turn, that helped me better prepare for my education by graduating in 2008 magna cum laude from the University of Missouri. In 2016, I graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law. At law school, I was a dean’s list student. I am now the Founder and Owner of The Law Firm of Kenneth L. Jamison, LLC. 

During my time between college and law school, I served four years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. I attained the rank of Captain, was Honorably Discharged, and served one tour in Afghanistan. While in Afghanistan, I was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for serving with distinction.
